Some Really Awful eBay Listings - Actual Items for Sale

Today I am taking a break from reporting eBay news and how-tos, and giving you some eBay humor. Here are some actual eBay listings I found while poking around on eBay today.

You can look up the listings for yourself by the item number - I am not going to link directly to them for fear of showing up on the seller's referral link report and getting myself into trouble. Hopefully, this will give you a laugh or two.

ugly%20bathrobe.jpg

Vintage Oscar de la Renta Bathrobe - item #260231163412. Notice how the seller has the bathrobe staged in a chair like a real person. Reminds me of the mother from the movie Psycho.

elvis%20salt%20pepper.jpg

Elvis Blue Suede Shoes Salt and Pepper Shakers - item #270229668683. I suppose you can use these in the event that your peanut butter and banana sandwich, or jelly donut needs some salt or pepper.

Ken%20outfit.jpg

Vintage Ken Outfit by Sears - item #370043260199. All I can say here, is poor Ken. This outfit reminds me of an old afgan my mom made back in the 1970s.

bell%20bottom.jpg

Vintage 1970's Bell Bottom Pants - item #380020365658. Sort of looks like what a real life Ken or Greg Brady would wear. Not sure why the seller is forcing us to look at them sideways.

Ken%20Wig.jpg

Wig for Ken Doll - item #380018594726. Ken keeps popping up in my searches. (As if the pants weren't enough.) If your Ken is suffering from male pattern baldness, and can't afford Rogaine, you can help out by purchasing this wig for the low price of $13.97. It looks like Ken has already sprung for the colored contact lenses.

live%20worms.jpg

European Nightcrawlers Live Bait Worms - item #200217428046. I was not aware that one could buy or sell live worms on eBay. Now that is an idea for a source of inventory...grab a shovel and start digging!

I think I better stop now. I challenge you to leave your own awful listing item numbers in your comments!

The particularly hideous thing about the bathrobe is that it looks like a *headless* person. *shudder*

Hey, Sue - I got that, too. Sort of a "haunted" bathrobe theme.

Those European Nightcrawlers are a major seller here locally. We live by Lake Murray, lots of fisherman. It's something about them being stronger or tougher?? A company here in Chapin was in the news recently for it. They make BIG money!

As for the other stuff, uhhhhh...all of them are creepy if you ask me! LOL
