I was poking around on the eBay forum Seller Central, and came across this post titled, "GRIEVANCES, MISSION AND TERMS STATEMENT." Apparently this seller decided to send his list of grievances to eBay headquarters. The list is quite long so please visit the original thread to read it in its entirety.
Here are the terms outlined by the original poster.
1. Remove the DSR system or change in accordance with the above grievances.
2. Revise the feedback system through constructive means with user input and suggestions.![]()
3. No PayPal hold of the seller's payments associated with eBay transactions.
4. Reduction of fees.
5. Anonymous bid policy should be up to the individual eBay member or be removed.
6. No seller or buyer should be required to use PayPal.
7. Equitable search.
My comment to the OP is this: It would have taken you less time to craft a resume and apply for a job at several Fortune 500 companies than it did to write this list of grievances. If you're not happy with eBay, feel free to jump ship. No one at eBay is holding you hostage, nor are they forcing you to earn your living selling on eBay. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
