When I first started seeing vintage hot rollers for sale on eBay, I thought, "Why in the world would anyone want those?" The answer: collectors. Some collect these rollers for the sake of collecting, others feel that it is a case of "they just don't make them like they used to." The hot rollers from 20-30 years ago heat up fast, reach a higher temperature, and stay hot longer. Let's face it, when women find something that works for their hair, they stick with it!
Some of these roller sets can sell for up to $80. Look for them at estate and garage sales. You may find them at thrift stores, but chances are that the sets at estate sales and garage sales will have all of the pieces.
