Manufactured from 1865 until the 1950s, these cast iron cooking pieces were made by the Griswold Manufacturing Company of Erie, PA. Pieces to look for include skillets, kettles, muffin pans, cake molds, roasting pans, dutch ovens,
and waffle irons. Each piece bears the Griswold logo including a cross, on the back or bottom.
Authentic Griswold pieces can sell for over $800 on eBay. The next time you pass by the cookware at your local thrift store, stop and take a look - what looks like a dirty old skillet could help pay your mortgage.






Wow. It looks so antique and all. I think I like it. I am not good at looking for good quality kitchen stuffs, but as far as physical appearances go, this one is a winner.
