Here is another item you can find at your community garage sales, or in your neighborhood thrift stores. Vintage Pyrex bowls. You will want to look for the sets of bowls in graduated sizes. The bold primary color set does well, as so the decorated sets. Look for Cinderella and Amish patterns.
The mixing bowls bring more profit on eBay than the casserole dishes. You can usually find the bowls for less than $3 each at thrift stores. Make sure the pattern isn't faded too badly and the bowls are free of cracks and chips.
If you aren't a Pyrex expert, visit the Pyrex Love website that shows over 120
patterns and the names. Also, search eBay completed listings regularly for current information on what patterns are selling. You may also want to pick up the Pyrex Collector's Guide, available on Amazon.

Thanks for the tips on the website for the Pyrex! I'm a vintage collector, always on the lookout for Pyrex & have sold some when I find them! They always do well. However, I do have a set of bowls that I treasure that belonged to my Mom that I won't sell for the world!
