Remember the Texas Instruments Little Professor calculators? These were popular in the 1970s. (I had one.) The Little Professor is like using electronic flashcards. There are four levels of difficulty for children of all ages. I remember the bright red LED display and playing with it a night when I was supposed to be sleeping.
These vintage learning calculators are good sellers on eBay. Look for them at thrift stores for between $1 and $5. Make sure they are in good working order before purchasing one. The average selling price of The Little Professor is between $15 and $50. Having the instruction manual will increase the value of this toy on eBay.
