It is that time of year. Everywhere you go you will see the signs, "Huge Inventory Reduction Sale!" In the retail world, many stores that take inventory in January run these sales to reduce the amount of inventory they have to count, or to make room for new spring merchandise. Hey, if they can do it in retail, we can do it on eBay.
Take a look through your inventory and if you didn't donate old unsold items in December for the charitable contribution tax deduction, consider putting those items on clearance now. 
Use key words like "clearance, inventory reduction, and sale" on your item title. If you have items in store inventory, consider using Markdown Manager to designate a percentage off sale.
