eBay Marketplace Research is a service offered by eBay that allows eBay users to access more information about sold items than is available by searching completed listings. Users are able to access 90 days of historical data about completed listings, rather than 30 days as is available through the advanced search feature on eBay.
3 subscription levels are available. Fast Pass allows users to access the 
information database for 2 days for a fee of $2.99. More features are available through the Basic Subscription that costs $9.99 for 30 days of access. Finally, the Pro Subscription comes with all the bells and whistles and is available for $24.99 a month.
I tried the Fast Pass and found the information to be very helpful. This is a great tool for sellers who plan to experiment with new products or product categories. Sellers can analyze prices of sold items, starting prices, and number of successfully sold items by key word search. It's definitely worth 3 bucks to use this tool from time to time to be able to make more educated decisions about your products and selling strategy.
