eBay just missed ranking in the top 5 most visited sites on the internet in 2007, based on a report by ComScore, a global internet information provider. Rounding out the top five most visited websites (unique visitors) for 2007 were: 
Yahoo Sites - 136.6 million
Google Sites - 132.9 million
Microsoft Sites - 120 million
Time Warner Network - 120.5 million
Fox Interactive Media - 118.8 million
eBay came in sixth place with 79.8 million unique visitors - ahead of Amazon sites with 65.2 million. This begs the question, is Amazon really closing in on eBay if the site had 14.5 million fewer unique visitors last year? Or is Amazon gaining momentum?
