As I was browsing the eBay Pulse today, I noticed that the most watched item in the Entertainment Memorabilia category is the Indigo Girls lyrics charity auction. My January 13 post mentioned that this item is being auctioned off in memory of Meredith Emerson, the 24-year old Atlanta resident who was recently found murdered in the North Georgia mountains.
The item now has 55 bids by 22 bidders and the price has risen to $3,550. I'm glad
to see this item gaining so much attention and so much money being raised for charity. The proceeds will go to PAWS Atlanta, a no-kill animal shelter.
On a side note, Gary Hilton, the suspect charged with Ms. Emerson's disappearance and murder, has now been linked to the disappearance of a North Carolina couple who vanished from the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina in October, 2007.
