The page is updated in real time, so there is no need to constantly refresh the page - like you do when you are bidding on or watching an item in the last seconds of an auction. The best part - eBay Desktop is free to download and use.
Simply click on an item of interest to you, and the listing will minimize on the left of the screen. The price, time remaining, seller info, and item details appear on the right side of the screen. eBay desktop has received positive reviews, and users report that it is more user friendly than using eBay the "old way." The application is still in beta, so changes and enhancements could be made in the future.
