While chatting on one of my eBay forums yesterday, the acronym EUC was used. A member asked, "What is EUC - I see that all the time." EUC is one of eBay's many acronyms - it means "excellent used condition."
eBay definitely has its own lingo. Acronyms were develeoped to save space when writing titles for eBay listings. eBay only allows 55 characters for a title and successful sellers have learned how to maximize this space by using powerful key words and acronyms.
So, to answer the question above: NWOT means "new without tag," and HTF stands for "hard to find." See the complete list of eBay acronyms. Study these and start using them. Don't get creative and make up your own - users won't understand your own personal acronyms. Savvy eBay buyers and sellers are familiar with the standard eBay acronyms - so if you want to use "eBay speak," you'd better learn them.
