These game consoles often come packaged in bundles, including the hand-held controllers and several games. (One of the most popular is Guitar Hero.) I have seen these bundles at stores like Sam’s Wholesale and Costco for as low as $300. The Guitar Hero game itself is highly coveted and difficult to find.
Check out this recent eBay listing where the Wii game Guitar Hero sold for $9,100. The auction started at a penny. The seller bought this game for his son for around $125. (See the bid history.) What is most compelling about the auction is the story of why the father is selling the game. This listing is an example of creative internet marketing at its best!
