New York Times author Saul Hansell received a flood of responses from readers regarding his December 14 post titled, "Why Amazon Should Buy eBay." His readers expressed their dissatisfaction with eBay in the following categories.
Poor customer service
Prevalence of counterfeit merchandise
Product saturation - lack of unique merchandise
Poor upper-level management
"Greedy Business Model"
Hansell went on to explain that of anyone can fix eBay, it is Amazon. I agree with Hansell. In the 5 years I have been selling on eBay, I've seen the site evolve from a marketplace for small sellers of unique items and collectibles, to a virtual shopping mall saturated with too many large retailers and too many sellers using the same drop shippers.

That's not half bad, but I hate amazon.com fees.
