Coupons are big business. Many savvy moms know the value of grocery coupons and use them on the days and at the stores where they can be doubled or tripled. For example, I once bought a batch of 14 Suave shampoo coupons for $3. The face value of each coupon was 5o cents. I redeemed the coupons at a grocery store where the shampoo cost only 99 cents. The store doubled the coupons. In the end, I was able to purchase 14 bottles of shampoo, a $13.86 value, for $3 – the cost of the coupons on eBay.
I know many moms who save $50 to $100 per grocery trip using coupons they have purchased on eBay. The beauty of buying coupons on eBay is that you can purchase coupons for the products that you actually use in your home every week.
Coupon selling is a great family activity. Kids can help clip and sort them. You’re not going to get rich selling grocery coupons on eBay, but a segment of eBay buyers want them and you can make a little extra cash from the comfort of home selling them if you are willing to clip, sort, organize, and post them.
