As an eBay Power Seller, I spend hours a day on the computer posting listings, answering buyer's questions, shipping sold items, and reading the latest eBay news. Over the past month, I also spent some time as an eBay buyer purchasing Christmas gifts for my friends and family. I personally like the convenience of on-line shopping, and eBay provides a venue to purchase items that are hard to find or unique. (Plus, I am on the site anyway.)
Here are some items I purchased on eBay this year for Christmas gifts:
Lego Knights Kingdom Castle - $93.00. I wasn't able to find this in stores (after much looking) so I turned to eBay. The price was comparable to Toys R Us, and the item arrived within 48 hours of purchasing it on eBay.![]()
Ice Cream Ball - $20. The item was new in the box and cost $10 less than anywhere else on the internet. Shipping was fast.
David Klinkenberg CD - $12. I wasn't able to find this in stores, so once again found it on eBay. Fast shipping, no problems.
Now I am headed over to eBay to check on after Christmas sales to prepare for those January birthdays.

Long before the Internet was even around, I was a catalog shopper! Now that we have the Internet & eBay ~ I couldn't do without either! I am not a Mall Shopper at all - I may sell, but I also Buy Buy Buy on eBay for my family all year long!
