I would love to hear from other eBay sellers on this one. The month of December is a crazy time for eBay sellers. Especially this week, when some procrastinating shoppers have just decided they better spring into action and finish their Christmas shopping.
I've been listing and shipping like a one-armed paper hanger this week. I have also been receiving some interesting requests from my customers. My favorite was this request received on December 19:
"I would like to buy 3 of your Ping golf shirts at a discount. I need you to gift wrap them in separate boxes, include a gift card from me, ship them to a third party immediately, and don't put an invoice in the box. I'll am willing to pay (significantly less than asking price) for this."
I found this request amusing because I haven't even had time to wrap my own family's gifts. My response to the customer:
"Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not offer gift wrapping. We consider all Best Offers on store inventory items, so feel free to sumbit your offers through the Best Offer feature. Thank you again for visiting our store."
What I really wanted to say was:
"Sure, do you want fries with that too!" eBay sellers, have you received any unusual requests this week? Share them here!

I am always so relieved when these "special" requests come through *before* the buyer has BINned. Frankly, I think if we were meant to sell to these people, they wouldn't have invented a blocked bidder list.
