Run 3 and 5-day auctions. Shorter listing durations mean that your listing will move to the top of the "food chain" faster and browsers will find your item more quickly.
Offer a shipping discount for multiple items.
Emphasize that you are a quick shipper - items will be shipped within 24-48 hours of receipt of payment. Be sure to follow through on whatever you promise.
Remember, not everyone around the globe celebrates Christmas. You will have "normal",” non-holiday buyers during this time.
Not everyone is shopping for gifts during December. Plenty of people are shopping for items they need - clothing, household items, office supplies, cosmetics, etc.
Watch for an after Christmas surge. Lots of people get cash for Christmas and they will be on eBay looking for ways to spend it - and pick up items they didn't receive on their list. Furthermore, eBay offers eBay gift cards - so eBayers will be redeeming those after the holidays, too.
