Have you ever wondered how auction sellers get those cool, interesting, coordinating backgrounds on their listings? They are using an auction template service. My favorite is Seller Sourcebook. With SSB, you have access to thousands of templates for only $8 a month. You are able to upload up to 99 photos per listing if you want – with no extra fees. SSB templates allow you to choose the layout for your listing, and photo enlargement is a free option. Using an image hosting service makes your listings more visually appealing, more professional, and it is fun! Here is an example of one of my listings with a SSB template.
For example, let’s say you have an item for sale and you want to display 5 photos of it. If you list it on eBay without using an image hosting service, the cost for 5 photos will be 60 cents. (You get the first photo free and all subsequent photos are 15 cents.) You can see from this one example that SSB pays for itself in only a few listings.
The customer service at SSB is unparalleled and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Check out Seller Sourcebook and give it a try.

I'm a web designer, and I did a template for a while, but I noticed that people expected so much more out of me once I had a professional looking template.
I stopped using one because people are more forgiving and understand more when they see a lack of design.
