An interesting way to track the growth and viability of an eBay business is to watch the growth of the top 50 eBay sellers.
For example, 37 of the top 50 eBay sellers posted less positive feedback than they did a year ago.

Remember, most of the time, fewer feedback posted equals less sales.
eBay's answer to a decline in sales typically means a fee increase or two. As sellers continue to pass on the eBay fee increases to buyers, the buyers will continue to search for other alternatives to eBay.
