Paypal has agreed to settle for $5.2 million dollars with 28 state attorney generals and better disclose the limits of it's fraud protection.

Paypal will pay $1.7 million for the costs of the investigation by the state attorney generals from Alabama, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Washington and West Virginia.

This settlement comes after another class acition agreement for $3.5 million with the state of New York.
