The eBay seller discussion boards are all a chatter about this promotion that gives .20 discounted core listings in the US for Indian sellers.
The general thoughts are:
* Why is eBay promoting US core to other countries? At eBay Live, Bill Cobb said that international seller verification would be coming, but now here you have a promo that lets unverified sellers potentially flood the US with listings. Certainly scammers and bad guys will rush to this opportunity.
* The general conspircacy theory is that eBay is using this as a clever way to boost their core listing numbers for Wall St. without Wall St. knowing the boost came from a n out-of-country listing promotion.

It has now been confirmed. eBay is run by monkeys. I don't mean that the people running eBay are acting like monkeys, I mean that actual monkeys have taken over at eBay.I can not find any other explanation for the idiotic moves they have made over the last 18 months.
