Scot Wingo points out that a lot of development time has been spent on eBay My World, Blogs and Wikis, while fundamentals like core search, buying experience, trust & safety and shipping and handling have been largely ignored.
This seems to be a classic case of a big company losing it's focus. Instead of focusing on the core traffic that is down by 50% in the last 8 months, they are spending millions on blogs and wikis.
