Justin C. for PowerSellerKing:
For those that use eBay often, and especially for buyers, eBay is making life just a bit easier. They are now going to start testing a new search results page, which has many features, enabling the buyer or seller looking for median prices to find what they need faster. For now, it will be tested to randomly selected eBay buyers and sellers to make sure the impact is good for eBay. The enhanced search results pages will now allow you to see seller feedback, item location, and shipping services and payment methods, which were previously accessible only through viewing the item's page. For standard search results viewing, there will also be a "See Quick Details", to view the shipping services and payment methods.
The page layout for gallery viewing will change just a little. The gallery view for listings will now have three item rows, instead of the previous two. On gallery view, you will also be able to see the number of bids on the item, the shipping costs, and as standard viewing has, the "quick details" page. There will also be a "watch" link as well to watch the item from the gallery view.
So what about eBay Motors? The search results page for eBay Motors will also change. It will also have enhanced search results. The main change however will come from the mileage and year information for the car being displayed in the center of each listing, making it easier to choose what car you would or wouldn't want before clicking on the item.
eBay is taking hold of the fact that ease in customer use makes for more customers, or in this case, bidders and sellers. The enhanced search results make it easy to see if you would even remotely want the item before you click on it, helping to cut down on wasted time by viewing an item and then having to go back after you see that they want a payment you don't have, or can't ship to where you are.
