Ebay and other online auction powerselling tips and information

Amazingly enough, people are willing to go to great lengths to get some cash when they need it.  One person has put up an auction on eBay that will allow the winning bidder to have this man wear shirts, caps, rags, just about anything.  The purpose of this is to advertise whatever the high bidder wants this man to advertise.  The man, who to comply with eBay's stiff regulations about charities, has not said what the money is for, but, as indicated by the remarks he has made, it may be that he has an illness or is using it to benefit someone else.  Some quick details about the whole deal:

The man said he cannot wear permanent tattoos because of the "treatment" he is undergoing, which is said to continue until mid-December.  He cannot wear anything on his left arm as well because he has a pic line in place.  The exact length of time the man will wear the advertising articles is until January 1st, 2007.

So for anyone wanting to be able to advertise their business or cause for a few months, this is your chance.  Now, what is the pros and cons of doing this?  Well, everyone has to admit that you meet hundreds of people everyday when you are out and about, and this offers the bidder a chance to reach more people everyday then most people can by the Internet or local advertising.  The only con is that it isn't targeted, although many people will ask why you are wearing a cap and shirt with the name of a business on it.
