eBay Powersellers need more than Google Checkout
As an eBay Powerseller with over 15,000 transactions, I can only hope that Google Checkout is part of a larger plan. Google Checkout will not have an affect on my business, but something Google is planning might.

Perhaps we haven't heard the last of the term GBuy.

It would not be hard for Google to jump into full competition with eBay. At the core of Google is it's search engine and it would be very simple to have an auction/fixed price item with a few minutes left come up in a box just under the Google Adwords boxes on the Google Search page.

Powersellers need Google, because eBay has lost their mind when it comes to sellers fees while traffic on the eBay site is in a 6 month slump.

Stay tuned. I'm sure this will get even more interesting.
