Unwired and free: Buy on eBay through your cell phone

Justin C. for PowerSellerKing:

A new service is out!  It is called UnWired Buyer, and it allows you to bid on eBay items without being online.  This new service will revolutionize the way people bid on eBay.  It allows you to bid using your cell phone, or computer (I will get to what is so special about the computer usage later).  This service is both free and easy to use.  It works by sending you an email, text message, or phone call alerting when the item you want is within a few minutes of closing.  The breakdown is like this:

unwired.jpgEmail :
20 minutes prior to close of auction
Text message:
8 minutes prior to close of auction
Phone call:
3 minutes prior to close of auction

With the cell phone, you simply use touch tone command to bid and receive updates.  With the email, you can go to a website where is updates bids in real time status, allowing you to stay ahead of the game all the time.  And that is what is so cool about the email notifications.  You can bid online without having refresh all the time, losing valuable time in bidding when you want an item.  Are there any cons with this new service?  Actually, there are a few.  The service is only available in the US and Canada, and the same goes for whether or not you can bid on items outside the US.  But for those with an eBay account, the registration is still free, and for those wishing to stay ahead of everyone else when it comes to eBay auctions, this is your service.

Visit the UnWired Buyer website:
