The two largest eBay auction management companies may go head to head in the courtroom over the hiring of an employee.According to a press release by Channeladvisor, a lawsuit was filed against the company in Atlanta, Georgia by Marketworks, perhaps it's main competitor in the auction management arena.
Scot Wingo, ChannelAdvisor CEO, said, “At ChannelAdvisor we prefer to compete in the marketplace instead of the courtroom. We are somewhat mystified by this case, which appears to have no relationship to our company. This case is completely without merit. ChannelAdvisor plans to vigorously defend against the allegations and pursue all remedies available, including sanctions for frivolous litigation.”
The press release also pointed out that several high profile eBay sellers have recently "upgraded" from Marketworks to ChannelAdvisor.
