Wireless router for 5 bucks??!! Don't look on eBay.
eBay and Google are part of the funding for FON, the largest WiFi community in the world.
FON is selling "Social Routers" for $5 each in an effort to a free and open WiFi experience.
The FON social router is a brand new Linksys WRT54GL or Buffalo WHRG54S router that has been opened and configured with FON software. The programing allows you to share your Internet connection with other members of the FON community.
FON is making one million of the social routers available at $5 price and aims to have 50,000 wireless hotspots in place by September with hopes of 150,000 by the end of the year.
