-Cost of sales are rising. I heard this from way too many ‘adults’ to ignore. Just as eBay realizes the threat Google (with Adwords, Base, etc.) poses, the adults know the opportunity Google represents. eBay Express with its flashy new ad campaign sounds good to these adults, but there’s no guarantee it will attract loyal consumers (although all adults are clamoring to get in). The Yahoo! deal sounds good to these adults, but they aren’t quite sure if they’ll see an increase in sales…it’s not like Yahoo! is going to bias their organic listings towards eBay auctions. These sellers will continue to list on eBay, but are already looking seriously at their marketing metrics, and if PPC (through Google, Yahoo!, or Shopzilla) works better, that’s where their focus will shift.
While the cost of sales trend up, the traffic at eBay is trending down. These trends are a major problem for eBay's high level Powersellers. I will be reporting on MANY high level eBay Powersellers going out of business in the near future unless eBay does something (lower fees) to help change the trends.

Hello all, if your reading this one of 2 things have happened you either got kicked off ebay, or your fed up with fees, now you have a problem, 1. where eles can i go i make my living on ebay. 2. when i do find another where is the auction site that has the most traffic. who ever comes up the a high traffic online auction first with an easy to use navigation system will win the battle and ebay will be almost non-existant, why do you think people pay thier fees? when they could go to whatever.com and list for free, its not because its free its because of TRAFFIC. bidville.com is good and so is ebid...........trust me........google will be #1 auction in america in 3 months time
